G.D. works with his good friends Mike and Mitch, who own the five bars described on this site, and as the title suggests, they've got the best bars & restaurants in the Big Apple, from Greenwich Village to the upper east and west sides. Click on the Title link to check out the home site, or the individual bar links to check out each location, including maps, menus, photos, and promotions. Rand used to run the private parties for Eat, Drink & Be Merry, the party rooms at each location, but he's running a diaper service now. G.D. bartends at Mo's Caribbean Bar & Mexican Grille, the best bar on the upper east side (which also houses the famous Havana Room, for private parties). He works the Happy Hour on Mondays and Tuesdays (4pm to 7pm) and manages private parties for Eat, Drink & Be Merry at Jake's Dilemma and The Gin Mill, which if you're on the west side you must stop in and visit. Also, if you're down in the village stop and visit us at Down The Hatch and Off The Wagon, Hey, it's good for'ya!

Check out Kevin's website, a young sailor who heard our interview on The Morning Buzz and wrote us about his own upcoming adventure, self-described as follows: "Sometime around April 16 2001 a 23 foot kenner made sailboat will depart from houston texas with one goal, warm weather and blue water. The captian will be a insane 15 year old (me) and the crew an autohelm 800."

This is where Rand and I are learning to sail from Stephen Card and Jim Pinno. It's a great site, with lots of sailing information and opportunities, and great links. |
